Tutoring in times of social distancing: an approach in the field of Physical Education

The on-screen article presents reflections on a mentoring process developed in one of the disciplines offered by the Federal University of Ouro Preto to undergraduate courses in Physical Education in the first half of 2020. Due to the pandemic conjuncture imposed by the new Corona Virus, the original work plan had to be revised, which did not prevent the maintenance of tutoring activities. In this context, three remote work initiatives were developed with the tutors, who engaged in the contract, but, over time, reduced their presence in the meetings. For this reason, a questionnaire was applied to elucidate the factors causing the scenario experienced. We noticed that all those involved had their routines affected by the determinations of isolation, promoting psychosocial impacts that, little by little, manifested by the fall in interest in the proposed activities. On these, we verified that the "Oriconline" and the meetings of the Leisure, Management and Policy Laboratory (LAGEP) emerged as training spaces with better rates of student motivation in the course of the pandemic.
